The village hall in Baschurch has a variety of options available for hire depending on your needs. We can book the hall for you on either a regular basis or as one-offs for eg birthday parties.
Current bookings can be seen in the calendar below. A provisional booking has not been confirmed / paid for. Online bank transfers are preferred but cheques are accepted. Please be aware that this is a new booking system so please pose any queries / discrepancies to bvh.lettings@baschurchvillagehall.co.uk
To make a booking request from the weekly calendar below, click on the blue ‘+’ symbol on the date required. If you are making a booking request for the first time, you will be asked to enter your contact details and a password so that you can track your booking status, any changes that are made, plus view any invoices and payments linked to that booking, much in the same way you would with an online shopping website. Further Hall Details:
There is the large main room available for hire which has a maximum capacity of 80 people. There are around 100 chairs and both large round and small rectangular tables available. Seated capacity with the large tables will be around 65 people. This room has a kitchen area attached, separated from the main room by a raised bar. The room measures 12.5m x 8m. The hall can accommodate a bouncy castle but please ensure the inflatable provider also provides their own adequate public liability insurance. The kitchen has an oven, large fridge and freezer along with 100 sets of crockery / cutlery, industrial food warmers and drink dispensers. There is a surcharge for use of the kitchen of £10 per booking.
The hall has male, female and disabled toilets and other facilities include Wifi, a TV aerial connection and a bar area. A projector with 2m screen and large speakers are also available for hire.
The car park will hold around 40 cars, but during weekdays, please be aware this is shared with the preschool.
Minimum hire is a full hour and please allow time in your booking for preparation prior to your event and for the required tidying / cleaning afterwards.
